How do I unshare a folder from one person (not a member) without unsharing from another

New member | Level 2

I have shared a folder with two persons who are not members under my contract but who needed access to the folder for viewing and downloading. I want to unshare with one person but not the other. Is there a way to do that?

Hi there @jgkge,

Of course, you can remove a member from a shared folder from the website by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click Files.
  3. Locate the shared folder you're interested in.
  4. Hover over the folder and click on the ellipsis (...) button that appears on the right.
  5. Select Share.
  6. From the menu, find the member you want to remove and click on their permission (which should read Can view or Can edit).
  7. Select the option to Remove from the drop-down menu.
  8. Choose if you want to leave the member a copy of the shared folder.
  9. Click Remove.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
