How to SEE all online files locally but only have selected ones downloaded

New member | Level 2

In finder, I want to SEE ALL files that are online (with gray icon) as well as the ones I have selected for sync/download. How can I do this?

Dropboxer

Hey again @webdevguy; I think I just replied to you on another post.

Can you please clarify if the gray icon you mentioned is a cloud icon or a minus sign?

If the files (of folders) you're referring to have been set to Online Only via our Smart Sync feature, then, they should be visible within your Dropbox folder.

In case you were referring to folders that have been unsynced through our selective sync feature though, you'll need to sync them down to your computer (through the app's preferences under the Sync tab) to be able to see them in your Dropbox folder through Finder.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions.
