I am currently trying to have my files that are currently saved on my desktop, synced with dropbox without having to physically move the files to another location.

Please help!

That's not how Dropbox works. Dropbox will only sync the files and folders that are located within the Dropbox folder. Even the computer backup feature, which syncs the Desktop, Documents and Downloads folders, does so by moving them into the Dropbox folder.

Thank you for your response!

Does this mean I should drag my folder to either the Desktop, Documents and/or Downloads folder?
