I just allowed DB to backup my folders and now the desktop is a mess. How can I revert to pre backup?

Disable the backup feature.

Disable the backup feature.

The above instructions are vague and I cannot follow. Can you send detailed step steps?

Thanks always

Hi @ANDRE S.7, could you clarify which steps you find vague in order for us to assist further?

(1) I reinstalled dropbox, in drive D, there is a new process which is DROPBOX BACKUP.
After I checked, then logged in, checked into DROPBOX BACKUP looks for drive C > SYNC ISSUES > CHECKED FOLDER "couldn't upload".
So I need to uninstall it so it doesn't affect my account.

(2) I went to PREFERENCES > BACKUPS > MANAGE BACKUPS > UNCHECK ALL BACKUPS FOLDER > SAVE.
>>> NO DROPBOX CHANGES > DROPBOX BACKUP : BACK > SYNC ISSUES > CHECKED FOLDER "couldnt upload".

(3) Destination uninstall failed ( didn't delete DROPBOX BACKUP )

Hey @ANDRE S.7, it's not really possible to set up Dropbox backup on your D drive; the feature currently only works when Dropbox is installed on the default C: drive.

Would you mind sending over a screenshot of the error you're getting?

Hey Andre, thanks for this info and the screenshot.

Would you mind sending us a couple more screenshots of what you see, when you follow the steps above.

For example, a screenshot of what you see when you try step no. 2, 3 and 4.

Thanks!
