How to open files by default in Finder rather than Dropbox Desktop

How to open files by default in Finder rather than Dropbox Desktop

New member | Level 2

On my Mac, the files from from small badge icon are being open by default in Dropbox Desktop app. I really need them to be open in Finder by default.  There is no option in Prerences for this. (such as Open Files in Finder vs Open in Dropbox Desktop app). Any advice please?

Hi @Nick D, thanks for posting on the Community!

In order to open files in Finder directly, instead of the Dropbox desktop application, you can follow the steps in this link.

Let me know how it goes!
