I Lost All my files :((

Hello,

 

I was turning off the dropbox where it showed a message that everything on desktop will be deleted and I didn't read it and I pressed okay then it showed again and I pressed okay I went to my desktop I couldn't find anything :(( then I tried searching in the deleted files but I couldn't find them 

 

Please I need any help I could get :((

Hi there @Layla97, let's see what we can find here. 

It sounds like you enabled computer backup, which added your Desktop folder to your Dropbox folder. 

Are you able to find any of these files online under your Files tab

Have a look at the events page to see if there is a recent record of them being added to your Dropbox account. 

Give me a nudge with any updates and we'll go from there, thanks!

No I cannot find anything in the Files Tab or in the events page.

Could you search for the files in your local storage, your Recycling Bin/Trash, as well as your your deleted files tab online?

There is nothing unfortunately. I downloaded a recovering program where I was able to recover most of my files but not all.

Thank you for your effort, I downloaded a restoring program where I was able to find the important stuff that I need.
