I am logged into Dropbox but cannot access my files.

I am logged into Dropbox but cannot access my files.

Explorer | Level 3

I am logged into Dropbox and can see the file I want to open but when I tap on the file to open, I am prompted to "continue with (yahoo, outlook, gmail, AOL,) etc.  I enter my email account I want to continue with and hit  the "verify" button, then the message I get is "Please try again later".  I cannot get past this page to see anything.   This is 3 days now and I am so frustrated.  What is going on???

Hi @Bjayo, thanks for joining the Community!

 

In order to understand what window you're seeing, could you attach a screenshot showing the prompt you're getting, and then the error message?

 

If you don't get the option to attach the image on the forum, try uploading the screenshot to your account and share a link to it.

 

This will help me assist further!

Here is a snapshot of what I see after I try and log into my outlook.... like a dead end.

Thanks for those screenshots @Bjayo!

 

So it seems that the file you're trying to open is a html file. From your second link, it looks like you're using a mobile device, is that right?

 

Can you clarify the exact steps you're taking to open the file when you run into the prompt to sign in?
