Other members of the team can see that I am in the dropbox, however, I am unable to see any of the files or folders, If anyone knows anything this could potentially be I am open to all suggestions as I am relatively new to dropbox.

When you mentioned that the others could see that you're in the Dropbox, are you referring to them seeing the folders are shared with you?
If you check in your sharing tab here, do you see the shared folders there?
Also, just to clarify, can you confirm for me if you were added as a member of the Business team, or if just the folders that you need to use were shared with you? Does your Plan page show you're on a Business plan?
