When I click on profile photo in desktop app I do not get the pause sync option
Hi @ahikouka, thanks for posting on the Community!
Are you using the new Dropbox desktop application, or the interface that appears when you click the Dropbox icon in the system tray/menu bar?
You don’t need to click on the avatar. When the app is open, you can hover over the message in the bottom left to pause the syncing for the Dropbox desktop application.
Hope this helps!

I cannot find it either. I am using the mac, and the dropbox desktop. It uses to be a pause option under my personal picture.
Hi @C. Wei-Bin, you can still pause by clicking the Dropbox icon near the clock, then the avatar on the top right and 'Pause syncing'.
You can also click the message on the bottom left, where it should say 'Up to date' and it will pause syncing.
