I can't unshare a folder

Of course, this just allows me to be able to have a look at the settings of the folder too, in case the website might be showing the incorrect icon for some reason.

Now that you've restored the folder to your account, does the folder show locally with the shared folder icon?

I'm wondering if perhaps it was due to a caching issue, so if the folder does have the shared folder icon, please try manually clearing the cache folder.

Yes, it still shows the shared folder icon. I've cleared the cache already, but I did it again, and restarted, but it didn't change anything.

Hmmm, I see. Can you let me know which version of the desktop app you have installed, and the current sync status?

You can see this by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.

Could you forward a screenshot of the folder as it appears in Finder, and the share options when right clicking the folder itself. Thanks!

Thanks for the images. Could you try opening the second 'Share' option under Quick Look, which should be a Mac only option, and see if it is somehow enabled there (as they do use the same folder icon)?

OK, I've done what you asked me to do. Have you given up or are you just thinking?

Yes, I requested that you click the Share button below the Quick Look button in your previous image. Do you see any options in the Share menu?
