I saw many articles about disabling backup features.

But in my case it is different.

I accidentally allowed dropbox backup feature while downloading it.

and than i reinstalled the window 10 that caused dropbox to perceives this pc as other pc.

So i cannot disable backup feature...

what can I do?

Hey @VeniCe3193, thanks for reaching out to our Community!

Would you mind clarifying a few things for me?

What exactly happened after you reinstalled your Windows? Do you see the same computer twice in list of connected computers in your security tab?

Also, if you follow the steps to disable computer backup, what do you see?

Keep me updated.

After reinstalling new window, and redownloading dropbox, there was two separate PC.

I think after reinstalling new window, dropbox recognized the PC as separate one.

So after disabling computer backup, it just disabled second PC.

Still there is first PC left...

Hi @VeniCe3193, if you enabled the computer backup, and then reinstalled Windows 10, it would be seen as a new device.

To remove the old device, you can do so from this page. Once that is deleted, you can then delete the old backup, if you don't need to save the files first.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
