I cannot download full 2 hours of an audio file I sent myself using Dropbox anymore. What changed?

I have a basic, free account. I am trying to send myself a 2 hour audio file of a radio show, to be able to hear it play back on my iPad. I am only able to hear 1 hour. Previously I was advised, here, to try to download it to my iPad and then play it back, and that worked. I was able to hear the 2 hours. Now, something has changed, and even though I try to download the 2 hour file to my iPad for playback, I can only playback 1 hours' worth of music. Did Dropbox change something? Do I now need to subscribe to Dropbox Plus? The account the file is coming from is a basic this time, mine. It is not a business account. Sometimes it is a business account, as it is sent by someone in the radio station, back to me, to playback on my iPad. This time it is going from my free basic account, and I'm trying to download the file to my own iPad. I'm back to getting only  1 hour of a 2 hour show. Help!

Hi @mcastillo1, happy Monday and thanks for reaching out!

When an audio file is shared with you from a free Basic account, the preview limitation exists only when previewing the file on the Dropbox app or the website.

If you download the file on your computer or export it to your mobile device, you shouldn't have this issue, as Dropbox sets no limitation there.

So, is it possible that the file was not 2 hours long in the first place? Also, how large is the file in size?

Let me know what you find!
