So I am only viewing other files shared to me by other people. On my laptop everything is fine, on the PC it says its full/out of space. What is the difference here? I do not upload anything at all, I am just looking lol. Thanks!

Hey @Britney, thanks for checking in with us!

If someone has shared a folder with you, it would take up space in your account as well. Because every member can add to and modify the contents, it counts toward storage quotas in each member's account.

As a first step, can you check your account's space here, and let me know more?

Another thing I would check if I were you would be the account linked on each app. You can find this, by clicking the small Dropbox icon (next on your WiFi) then avatar or initials, then Preferences. Under the Account tab, you should find that info.

Can you check? Thanks.

Keep me posted!

@Lori

Yes it says its out of space on my PC. However on my laptop I am good.

I only have 1 dropbox account that I use for work. So there wouldn't be another. I don't pay for any subscriptions.

Is it saying your Dropbox is out of space, or the local drive on your computer is out of space?

Hey @Britney, thank you for checking back!

As @Rich mentioned, is your device out of space, or the account?

Did you also check the Dropbox desktop application on each device, to see the account each has linked?
