I don't have space in my account for a shared folder, can I leave some of the subfolders?

Hello Dropbox Community, I have a massive parent folder shared with me, and I am out of space. Is there a way to leave some of the subfolders, without deleting them from others' accounts? Is it something I cannot do online, so do I need to have the app?

Hello there @aalexander, I hope you're having a good day so far!

There wouldn't be a way for you to remove your access from the subfolders unfortunately. The best way around this would probably be to have the owner of the folder share smaller subfolders with you individually.

Otherwise, perhaps they can share a link to the largest parent folder and then allow you editing access to subfolders when needed.
