I don't know if I should delete ynab from my Dropbox folder or not

Explorer | Level 4

Hi to all.

Everytime I open YNAB I get the message shown in the photo. I am reluctant to delete it, incase everything disappears. Any advice will be greatfully received

Regards

Tim

From your first screenshot, the file itself looks like it's a temp file.

If you want to continue running both apps together, I'd personally recommend not deleting it, to make sure that they continue working without any unexpected issues.

Hi @teedcee, thanks for dropping by.

From what I found, YNAB is a third party app and, from the sounds of it, you've connected your Dropbox account to it.

Just out of curiosity, is it still listed under your Connected Apps online?

Have a look and let me know what you find. Cheers!

Thank you for your reply. I have  installed Ynab quite a few times over the years. One of the first options you are offered is to cloud sync your account, if you choose the yes option, you then download Dropbox and the two connect. Dropbox has been very useful for this purpose. To answer your question, yes it is in my connected apps.

I think I shall take that option and not delete it. It is just a little frustrating, when it offers you the option to not show the message again, but insists on still showing it. Still better to be safe than sorry
