I have wrongly programed a backup, I have canceled this syncronisation, but it doens't stop

I made a mistake by accepting to put all my laptop archives as a backup on Dropbox.  I have canceled it using the preference options, but dropbox is still uploading my archives. How do I stop it?

Have you successfully disabled the feature using the steps shown here

If so, which option did you choose? To leave your files in Dropbox or keep them in your computer? 

Let me know and we'll take it from there.

Yes I have followed the step to deactivate the synchronization, and I have chosen to let the archives on my PC. But it is still uploading everything and I can't stop it, except if I pause the synchronization. 

 

Do I have to erase dropbox and install it once again? Is there a risk for my files?

Hey @Sirdarkos, can you let me know your app's syncing status

Also, keep in mind that the app would need some time to sync the changes. Just because you see it syncing, that doesn't mean it's backing everything up.
