I have dropbox on my windows work computer and installed it on my mac.

at the top,  the drop box icon is black.  When I click on it, and on the globe, the files are all updated and correct.  When I click on the folder icon, it is a previous version.  How do I get that to stop.

Hey @tbkane, I'd be more than happy to help look into this with you!

As a first step, could you please send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of what you're seeing in relation to the icons? What does the Dropbox icon specifically show when you hover over it?

Keep me posted!

right, so when I click on the icon, and on the globe inside, I see Drop listed Screen Shot 2020-01-24 at 4.18.37 PM.pngon the side.

But if I go to the folder icon, it is not there.Screen Shot 2020-01-24 at 4.23.01 PM.png

I don't understand why the finder view is not the same as online.

Thanks for the screenshot, @tbkane! This definitely gives a better understanding of what you're seeing.

The list you see in your first image is a series of suggested folders, which could even be subfolders.

For this reason, could it be that the folder you're looking for is within another folder? You can try manually searching for it through the desktop app or the website.

Let me know what you find!
