deleting folder--can't remove while still backing up files

Can you let me know what currently shows in your Backup tab in the desktop app preferences?

Are you seeing the option "Set up" or "Manage" for the computer backup option at the top? Please feel free to send over a screenshot of this.

Hello,
On Mac my Download folder has been added automatically to Dropbox (with a shortcut in my Home folder).

When I try to exit it, to move it directly in my Home folder, I have the message "It is a DropBox functionnality. You cannot move it".
How remove this "functionnality" and replace my Download folder to my Home folder.

You won't be able to remove or delete this folder from Dropbox until you have disabled the computer backup option in the desktop app preferences.

To do this, please check out the steps outlined here.

In step 8, you can choose to keep content on your Mac, which will return the files to their original location automatically for you.

I have my dropbox "selected folders" to sync on only one folder but for some reason in the web UI "My Mac" folder also appears.

(1) I delete that "My Mac" folder from we UI

(2) Its immideatly readded as for some reason Dropbox is now syncing it

(3) I disable syncing on "My Mac" folder - its still in web ui

(4) Delete it again - it readded and its being synced again.

You have the computer backup feature enabled.
