I am listed as owner and admin of a basic dropbox group and most members can view the files. 2 other members have access to edit files. How can I get notifications if they have altered any file? All notifications are turned on in settings for windows, ipad and iphone but I am not getting any notifications
From the desktop app, you should be able to enable notifications within the desktop app as you mentioned. When the app syncs new changes to your Dropbox folder, you should get a notification pop-up. While this isn't persistent, you could always check the "Recents" tab by clicking the Dropbox icon in your system tray.
To look into this, can you let me know the sync status of the desktop app as well as the version that you have installed on your computer?
Regarding the iOS devices, the push notifications you receive is currently only for shared folder invitations and for when links are shared with you. You wouldn't receive a push notification to your iOS device when files have been edited.
Would you mind checking your Events page to check for the edits made by other members of the shared folder? Perhaps, if they're also using the desktop app to edit their files, the changes aren't syncing.
