I'm not seeing the option for .heic files to be upload as .jpg files in the new version of the app.

This function is now missing on the latest update on the app. 

Use camera uploads to upload HEVC as a different file type

If you use the camera uploads feature to automatically upload your photos and videos to Dropbox, you can set your HEIF and HEVC files to upload as JPG and non-HEVC MOV files instead. Then, you can open them on non-Apple devices.

To set HEIF and HEVC files to upload as JPG and non-HEVC MOV:

1. Open the Dropbox app.
2. Tap the person icon.
3. Tap the gear icon.
4. Tap Camera Uploads. (It must be enabled to see these settings.)
5. Select Save HEIC Photos as.

Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the camera upload settings that you see?

With the latest version of the app (205.6.2) and the latest iOS version (14.0), I was able to see the options that you're referring to there.
