I need some instructions on how to create a file to share images in Paper.

I need idiot proof instructions on how to create a new file (not folder) in which images can be shared with another party.  I don't know the difference between "dropbox paper," "dropbox paper template," or if what I really want is a folder. I'd rather the second party not see other folders I have.....

Hi there @Susi S, I hope you're having a good Monday so far!

If you'd like to share a selection of images, then you could indeed use a Paper doc to do this. Sharing a Paper doc will only allow the recipient to see that specific doc, nothing else from your account.

You can check out the steps to share a Paper doc from here. I would suggest using a normal Paper doc rather than a template for this.

Templates are usually used to create a template for a doc that you'd like to create copies of. For example, a customized template for meeting notes.

Otherwise, you could indeed just use a normal folder and add in the image files. If they only need to view/download the images, you can share the folder with a shared link.

If they need edit access to the images though, then you can share the folder with these steps instead.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
