I've reached a daily limit to share a folder, can you help?

I am trying to send an invitation to someone to share a folder with me, but I got a message that I reached the limit in the 24 horas. However, it has been more than a year since I have sent an invitation to someone! How can I solve this???

Hi!

I had an active sharing ban on the account due to a potentially malicious file. First, I had to delete the file.

Since then, Dropbox support has been able to lift this ban for me, so I have no more problems now with shared links.

If you've been getting this error for over a year, I'd suggest using an incognito window while NOT logged into any account to contact our support team through this form (providing as much information as possible) so we can assist with account specific information.

 

I hope this gets resolved for you soon.

I always get the message "You have reached your invitation limit. Try it in the next 24 hours."

You've hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours.

I get this message "You've hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours."  when I try to share a folder, I haven't used my account many months so I suspect there must be some lock on my account, please help!  Thanks!
