If I add Extended Version History now, can I recover files on a Pro account from 8 months ago?

I transferred a bunch of files to another system about 8 months ago. Since then, someone has deleted them off of the other system. I would like to go back and recover the files in dropbox. If I add Extended Version History now to my pro account, can I access the files?

Hi Elana,

We do have a feature available to Dropbox Pro users called Extended Version History, which gives users the ability to restore deleted files or previous versions of files for up to a year after the 30-day window. For more information on Extended Version History, please see this article in our Help Center:

Please keep in mind that Extended Version History is not retroactive. If your files were deleted or changed over 30 days ago, purchasing Extended Version History now will not make them available again.
