If I delete photos from dropbox- will it delete google photos too?

If I delete photos from dropbox- will it delete google photos too?

HI ALL-

I have a full dropbox (tho I never use it)...it may have all photos. IF i delete them from dropbox - will they all be deleted from Google Photos?

Hi @bmanitsky; welcome aboard and thanks for posting your first question on our Community!

As our apps and services are in no way connected to the 3rd party app you mentioned, the actions you take on the files you have on Dropbox won't be reflected on the files you have in Google Photos.

This means that you're good to delete your photos from Dropbox to make up some space without affecting the photos you've stored in Google's Photos. 

I hope this clears things up for you and I'm always a post away if you have any more questions.
