Images pixelated when saving from Dropbox

New member | Level 2

Hi - I often download images taken from my DSLR to my Dropbox on my MacBook so I can then view them on my I phone app and save to phone. However lately they have become increasingly pixelated and blurry. I have noticed this happening to my friends images when I have shared Dropbox files with them and one of them had images returned from the photo lab as they were of such a poor resolution. Is anyone able to explain why this is happening? I have always used Dropbox in a professional capacity (I am a photographer) but am apprehensive about continuing to do so. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi @Clare_701; welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!

Can you please clarify if this is affecting the previews of your files or the files themselves?

To do so, apart from viewing them on our website or through the mobile app, try downloading (or exporting) those files locally to your device(s) and access them from there. Do you notice the change in quality there as well?

Let me know what you find!
