Incorrect space warning, cannot find the reason

My account is fully synced with my desktop version. No selective sync. I am the only member.

I'm within my limit, but it claims I am very much over the limit.

 

I've had this (basic) account since at least 2010, and I have painstakingly added a bunch of bonus space via invitations.

 

Two years ago, I signed in from someone elses device who had his own DB account (paid subscription).

Back at home, I noticed that I suddenly had a lot more space available. But that was the only change (no extra folders or anything else).

I think the current problem may have started when this person discontinued their subscription (just a hunch).

 

How can I get to the bottom of this?

Hi @drumbliss, I'd be happy to help look into this with you!

In general, each account is associated with their own unique email address. 

If you signed in onto someone else's, you used another account other than your own. 

However, just to make sure that we're on the same page, could you clarify if you actually logged onto a separate individual account, or if you joined a Business team?

Also, have a look at your Plan tab to see what exactly is taking up space.
