Is Dropbox having a syncing problem for anyone else?

I have a large amount of synced files across 2 devices. 1.7 TB out of my 3TB.

 

For the last 24-48 hours, Dropbox has basically stopped syncing from my imac and macbook air. Both sync status say "checking for updates" but it never syncs, the newer files never sync and I don't see them up on dropbox.com.  Also, the smartsync icons no longer show up. BigSur 11.0.1

 

  1. I have restarted the dropbox app on both devices
  2. Rebooted my router
  3. Restarted both macs entirely
  4. Reinstalled Dropbox on my imac
  5. It started the long... syncing 85,000 files and so I went to bed.

 

This morning the imac is stuck on syncing 14,514 files.... restarted the app. Nothing. Still stuck on syncing 14,514 files.

 

Dropbox status page shows all operational but.....

Since you've already restarted the app, could you also try following these steps and let us know if they help?
