Is it possible to see a previous version of all my Dropbox files' activity?

Explorer | Level 4

Lasted version of Dropbox on windows only show recent files activity (like recently modified/added/deleted) for 1 or 2 mins.

How do I view history of all files activity? (not for individual file) like an older version of Dropbox

Thanks you.

Hey @dragonflyuser, it’s my understanding that you’re referring to the Recents tab through the pop-up on the Dropbox desktop client, am I on the right track? If so, then it would be worth noting that while Dropbox Business admins can monitor their team’s activity through the Activity reports on their admin console, individual users can see file & folder activity if they own the files in question or have edit permissions (i.e. I’m merely offering you some alternative ways to get to this info).

Kindly note that there isn’t currently a way to view a snapshot of what your Dropbox account looked back to a previous point in time, however I’ve already made a note of your interest on my internal report for future iterations, as this is some great feedback for our team devs.

Please let me know how you get on with my hints & tips or if I’ve missed anything along the way & I’ll do my best to check back with you soon. Thanks!

Ah, now I see @dragonflyuser; I have to admit I missed this one (in all honesty the systray description made me think that you were talking about our desktop application 🤓) but I’m glad to hear that you managed to find what you were looking for on your end.

Nonetheless, it will be a pleasure to work with you again in the future if you have any additional questions or thoughts; just ping us back here. Take care until we talk again & happy Dropboxing!
