Last week's files are gone

Explorer | Level 3

My notebook broke but I was calm because I work with the files open right in the dropbox, but now I went to get my work from last week to continue and they are gone ... Everything I did after the day 07/08 was not saved ... 10 days of lost work. I already checked and there was space on the account, and at no time did I receive notice that it was not synchronizing during the past week, not even that blue circle that remains when it has not yet loaded or is without internet. What could have happened?

Dropboxer

Hi @Marina Steinbach, thanks for messaging the Community.

I'm sorry to hear about your missing files. If the Dropbox desktop application wasn't syncing to your account online, there are various reasons as to why this could have occurred.

The app might not have been able to connect to the web, or files in the Dropbox folder weren't being edited there. However, without being able to see the current status of the app, since the notebook no longer works, there isn't a way to know why this happened.

If you experience this issue in future, please let me know!
