Listing photos that failed to upload

After uplaoding (automatically) a large batch of photos form my iPhone to Dropbox I receive a message stating that N photos failed to upload (where N is a number, typically about 10, for an upload of a few hundred photos). This seems to be a common occurrance, I get this often after a day of shooting pics.

1. Is there a way to find out WHICH photos failed to upload -- other than by the tedious task of srcolling thorugh the photos one at a time in the Dropbox account and comparing with those on the iPhone? (Determining this woudl allow me to upload the remaining photos manually).

2. Why does it happen? More to the point, how do I prevent this from occuring in the  future?

I shoudl add that if I start the upload anew, the Dropbox app will attempt to upload the failed photos again and the message reappears. Occasionally it will succeed in uploading a few of the photos that it previously had failed to uplaod,  giving the "failed to upload" message with the number N decreased by the corresponding amount.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with uploading your photos from your iPhone to Dropbox via our mobile app's -auto- camera uploads feature.

Can you send me a screenshot of the exact error you get so I can advise further at this point?

While at it, can you ensure that you're running the most updated version of your mobile's OS and our mobile app's as well? We're on v. 174.2 for iOS devices at the moment - the one that introduced dark mode as well!

If you're using an older version of the mobile app, could you update it to this one and let me know  if you still bump into the error messages you mentioned?
