Locating Shared Folders

New member | Level 2

I continue to get the error that I can't share a folder because I am sharing a subfolder within it. I have looked through the massive amounts of subfolders and cannot locate a shared folder. Is there a easier way to locate a shared folder?

Hello @UrRicanGal

Thanks for this question. Welcome to Dropbox Community!

The only way to check the members of a folder, is the "Share" button. I understand you are facing an issue with sharing all the levels of your structure. This issue occurs when you have subfolders in a Plus account. Plus accounts are not designed to work with "tree" structure sharing.

The easiest way to go about this and never face this issue again, is to move the subfolders out. If you have all your folders on the top level of your files page, you will easily see the number of members hovering over the folder name.

Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks!
