I'm working on a huge project with tons of subfolders and I want to make a copy of my local files only. Not the 'online only' files.
I figured I could just copy-drag the folder to a separate harddisk, but it seems the online files then all start dowloading.
It's quite ridicilous to go in and manually copy every local file, is there a way to copy a folder to my computer with only the local files?
Hi @OlaTan, thanks for posting on the Community!
Currently, there isn’t a method to select only the local files in your Dropbox folder to copy elsewhere.
As you’ve discovered, copying online-only files to another location would download them to the computer.
If you wish, you can suggest this change for others to vote on, so the dev team can look into this in future!
