Hey there @DencoFence,

Can you let me know a little more detail about what exactly is not working as expected? For example:

  • Are you not able to see the option to apply smart sync when right clicking a file?
  • When you choose to make a file online only, do you not see this reflecting in your Dropbox folder?
Any extra info and screenshots that will help to explain the issue will be much appreciated - Cheers!

Just to clarify, when you’re clicking the option to turn files to be “online only”, do you see no change in the sync icon and it remains as local with a green tick icon?

If so, would you mind trying a basic reinstall of the desktop app to see if that resolves the issue? You will just need to uninstall the current software and then download and install the desktop app fresh.

Otherwise, can you let me know the current sync status and the version of your desktop app.

Let me know what you find - Thanks!

Hi Daphne,

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes when I change the sync option to online only the sync icon stays the mixed content icon. Not the solid green check but the other one. Well now it has the sync icon itself but its not syncing cause my hard drive is full. I am trying to unistall it now. I will let you know.
