Missed word file

Hi.

I've been working on a report for a couple weeks on Microsoft Office 2016 on it's desktop application while it was saved on my dropbox's cloud. Today, when I tried to open the file I noticed it was completely blank. The file's historical data shows a 0 bytes modification saved on 11/09 at 05:44pm which was precisely the last time I saved the file. 

  The odd part is, right after the last modification(on 11/09) it seems "I" have deleted the file... I don't recall any of that happening, but assuming I did, somehow deleted the file, wouldn't I be able to recover it's earlier versions? 

Any help is apprecciated.

If the file has been somehow deleted, you should be able to restore it from your deleted files page or the events page in some cases. 

As per the specific version of the file you're looking for, if you can't find it at all on our website, have you tried locating it locally on your computer?

Lastly, since you mentioned that you were working on a desktop, do you remember if our desktop app was running and syncing your changes? Does it show 'up to date' within your menu bar/system tray or is it still syncing?
