I created a paper doc a few days ago, and realized some of the images are missing when opening the doc using the shared link. I am assuming there is some sort of export functionality that is failing, since the images (a vertical arranged array of png and jpeg assets) are compiled into a single asset like the one below:
Hi @livecano, thanks for joining the Community!
I'm sorry to hear about this. Is this occurring for all of your Dropbox Paper docs, or just this specific document?
Are the images in the Paper document shared links with any permissions that might prevent them from being previewed, such as being in a team folder with sharing restrictions?
Let me know so I can assist further!
Thanks for the quick reply Jay!
It's happening in multiple docs. I uploaded the images from my desktop computer directly into the paper doc -- they are not shared links. Basically, all images in the doc were uploaded the same way, but for some reason, not all of them are showing in the shared doc.
Could you try this again in another Paper document to see if this helps? Is it only on this doc that the issue occurs?
Hi Jay, I created a new doc and experienced the same issue as before. Here is the link so you guys can check it out on your end:
Out of curiosity, are you signed into your Dropbox account when you try opening the link to the doc @livecano?
Thanks for clarifying @livecano.
In this case, it would be expected that all the images can only preview correctly when signed into Dropbox. Walter has provided a little more info on this here.
Hope this info helps to some extent!
