Hey @avit, thanks for checking in with us.
Could it be that you're looking at a different account associated with a different email address?
Are you able to add the users back as members to the shared folders by any chance?
Let me know what you find, thanks!
Thanks for your reply!
No, it's definitely the right account. The other users are still seeing the folders and sharing files correctly among them, but they obviously can't see the files I upload/modify. However, to them it looks like I am still sharing the folder (and that I am the owner of the folder).
I am able to add users - I haven't tried with the people that share the folder in order to avoid creating problems with their accounts, as the folders would have the same name.
Thanks for getting back to me, @avit.
Could it be that the folder you're uploading the files to is a regular copy of the shared folder?
One way to check this is from the folder icon, where a shared folder looks like this:
Could you also have a look at your Share tab to see if you find the shared folder listed there?
Let me know how it goes, thanks!
I checked the shared tab and it looks like the folders I was referring to had not been added. This is confusing, as I was definitely sharing them at some point. I guess I will just add the folders and get rid of the old ones.
Thanks for writing back to me, @avit. I'm glad you were able to work around this.
Before removing them though, I'd recommend checking that the files are also updated with the info that you have.
In any case, if anything else comes up, just give us another nudge.
In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely day ahead!
