Moving from personal to business is very confusing

Moving from personal to business is very confusing

New member | Level 2

Hi guys,

We need a hand please.

Previously, we've been sharing a dropbox folder with our client. We were all on free and now, to increase space our client has upgraded to business. However, when we try and access the same folder we still have the space issue.

We want to just share the client's business dropbox, so we don't all have to upgrade!

How do we do this please?

Thanks

If your client created a Dropbox Business account, they can invite you to join their team. Accepting the invitation will merge your account into theirs (bassically, you won't own the account anymore, your client will) and you'll be able to access the shared storage that the team has access to.

If your client upgraded their account to Plus, Professional or even Business but just continued to use the same shared folder without inviting you to join the team, then you are still limited to the amount of space available in your own account.

Ok, so we have to join their team?

How does my client do that? Is this obvious when you upgrade to business? Please can you share a screengrab so I can share it with her? Thanks
