Dropbox says I am over my storage limit so I am trying to move files to my hard drive and delete them out of Dropbox, but the system won't let me. I do not want to spend over $100 to upgrade my plan when I can simply clean up my files. HELP

Re: Dropbox full?

Dropboxer

Hi @akell, thanks for posting on the Community!

Are you referring to having difficulty downloading and then deleting files from the Dropbox site, or moving them out of your Dropbox folder?

If you're using the Dropbox desktop application to sync files, moving files out of the Dropbox folder will also delete them from the site automatically.

Let me know how it goes!
