My dropbox is saying I'm way over capacity and it happened overnight.

My dropbox says I'm using 47.4GB of 9.8GB storage. This seems to have happened overnight , but I can't see why when I look at recent files. I'm thinking it could be the pics I was emailed a dropbox link for yesterday.  I clicked on her dropbox link and when it popped up, I did not choose save to dropbox, I chose download and saved it to the pictures folder on my computer. I'm confused how I went from under 9GB to over 40GB and can't see why.  Then to top it off, I'm not able to even contact dropbox to ask.....when I'm pretty sure there's an error.  Can anyone help me?  Thanks, Rhonda
