My files are gone

My files are gone

New member | Level 2

I have not accessed my drop box for more than 5 years. When I have come back, my files are gone. Can anyone help.

at this moment i feel so angry. I regret the day i used drop box as a place to store files. The customer support is so limited when you don't have a business account. this is really bad. i will never use drop again if they can't even offer support.

If your account was idle for more than a year then it was likely deleted due to inactivity, and you're now signed in to a new, empty account. Dropbox sends multiple emails prior to the account being deleted.

Unfortunately, when this occurs, neither the account nor the files within it can be recovered.
