My files have been deleted from my mac and online, what can I do?

Hi

I just discovered that many off my dropbox files where deleted, not by me, i don´t know how that happend, it´s both on my mac and the dropbox.com. 

I was out in a meeting, and when i came box, i saw that many folders where "blue" like updating, and then they where gone. 

A little critical right now, does anyone know what has happend ?

Now i am missing alot of files

Hey there @VickyWaves, welcome to the Dropbox Community!

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, the first thing we can do to see what happened is to check your Events page here. You should be able to see the recent activity within your account and that should give you more insight as to how these files were deleted. If you see the deletion event, you can also restore the files.

Otherwise, can you check your Deleted files page and try to restore the files from there?

Let me know what you find and we'll go from there!
