My mobile app opens my downloads

My mobile app opens my downloads

Explorer | Level 3

Hi. I have Dropbox on my Samsung Galaxy S6, but I rarely use it. Suddenly, it is being used to open all my downloads. I do not want this. I would just delete the app, but i have a file on it that i want, and i am worried that because it's now linked to my downloads that they might disappear. Could not find a way to change this. Clearly, I am not savvy. Anybody? Thanks.

Re: Dropbox on Android

Hi there @pg17, I'd be happy to help look into this with you.

In general, the mobile app shows files that have been added to your Dropbox account and are visible on the website.

Could it be that you uploaded the files in your mobile's download folder to the Dropbox mobile app?

Do you see these files on the website and your mobile's internal storage?

Let me know and we'll take it from there, thanks!
