Navigate up a folder (iOS 12.2)

I can't figure out how to navigate up/back a folder in iOS (12.2). I don't recall having this difficulty before. I've tried swiping many times from left to right, as works in some apps and is suggested on a similar post here, but can't get that to work either. Anything I'm missing or perhaps there's something wrong in the latest update?

You did right. Just swipe left to right or click to small arrow in left-top angle. Try reinstall app, it help me sometimes

Thank you. Just needed to delete and reinstall app and now both methods work.
