New Owner of my Dropbox Files Randomly Appears

WFatVT

After migrating from my old Apple MacBook Pro to a new one, I noticed that a subset of my folders have changed ownership from me to a NON-EXISTENT USER called macports. How do I get the file ownership back to me? Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @WFatVT,

Not only ownership is changed, but also seems locked! Try noted in this post.

Hope this helps.

And refer to this site for a possible explanation. This isn't a Dropbox issue.
