New shared folder not syncing despite not using selective sync

New shared folder not syncing despite not using selective sync

I have been added to a new shared folder online. I can see it online, but it does not appear on my desktop. Selective sync is off, and syncing of all other files seems to be working normally. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Does the folder's name user any characters that would be considered incompatible with your operating system? If so, Dropbox would not be able to sync the folder to your computer.

 

 

Rename the folder and see if it syncs. You won't affect any other members by renaming it. The change will only be seen by you.
