Hello there @henry2495, thanks for checking in with us.

You are right, you can store web-based files in your Dropbox account, like Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, but you can’t add or move them from somewhere else to your Dropbox account.

You can find more information and workarounds to this though, in this article

If you're still looking for other solutions, I'm more than happy to leave this thread open for other users who may have suggestions to offer.

I hope this helps!

Hi Lusil

Thanks for the reply.

I am confused through when you say you can add google docs because no matter if I upload drag and drop or try something else it says

Invalid MS-Dos function

Name of the file

Type; Google Docs

Size 151 bytes

Date modified

So you cannot add google docs in any normal way like you add any other files

Thanks for getting back to us here @henry2495!

As Lusil mentioned, you won't be able to add Google docs/sheets to Dropbox directly.

However, you can follow the steps in the article that Lusil linked above to find out how you can workaround this to get your files into Dropbox.

Let me know if you have any questions!
