I don't know how long it has been this way, but I used to be able to create links to files in my Public folder from Windows Explorer simply by right clicking, choosing Dropbox and then Share Public Link.
Now there IS no Dropbox choice in the contextual menu, it's just not there.
Did something happen? Am I missing something? I've tried updating and restarting, but the option just isn't there, I have to do everything from the website.
I'm running Dropbox 3.8.5 and Windows 7 SP1
I'm having similar issues. I no longer have a "copy public link" option in my contextual menu. I'm running Mac OS 10.8.5. I have an option to "copy" but it copies the entire file. Need to be able to simply email a link to a file within my DB Public folder. Help please.
Solved using the method described by Roberto G. in https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/204200496-Lost-Finder-Integration-in-OS-X-10-1...
I re-enabled csrutil [csrutil enable) and it kept working (the Dropbox fix)
