No modified date showing at the folder level?

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I am able to see modified dates if I drill down to the individual document level, but the entire Modified column of our various shared folders is blank and just shows two dashes [--]. This makes it difficult to navigate to updates from users on shared folders. I must be doing something wrong?

Hi @FBOJJ! Great question.

No you are not doing something wrong!

A folder’s modified date can only be viewed on the Dropbox desktop app. Please find all the information you need and a few frequently-asked questions, regarding modified dates here.

If you want to check changes made in your folders from the website, please navigate to your events page online and see all actions.

Let me know if this page helps you work. I'd be glad to receive your feedback any ideas or questions on this.

Thank you!
