No upload possible. Folders are seen as empty

No upload possible. Folders are seen as empty

Hello everyone,

I try to safe all my data from an external hard drive (photos, documents, etc.) to my Dropbox. As it are a lot of data and my connection is poor, I am doing it one folder after another. Lately, when I try to upload a folder via drag and drop, Dropbox says me, it cannot upload an empty folder. I tried different folders from my laptop and my external hard drive, but none will work. As I can open the datas on my computer, I guess the problem must be Dropbox.

Does anybody has an idea what I can do?
Thank you a lot in advance and please excuse any English errors!

Hello there @Ritterburg, let's see what we can do on this.

Are you able to transfer a folder if you copy it from the external hard drive and paste it into your Dropbox folder?

Also, a screenshot of the error message would be super helpful.

Give me a nudge with any updates, thanks!

PS. Do not worry, you're English was just fine. 😊
