Ongoing Bulk Delete Issue

Ongoing Bulk Delete Issue

Hi All,

To keep it short, 23 thousand files where bulk deleted from my account, which i did not do.
Its 2 days past the 30 day period and I'm very worried everything is lost.

Now this happened about 5 weeks ago also and i painstakingly restored over 100,000 files.
Dropbox support didn't seem interested that it was not me deleting these random files from random folders but it seems like a clear dropbox issue to me.

Has anyone been able to get there files over 30 days recovered when it was no fault of there own it was deleted?

It may not have been you specifically, but it would be something on one of your devices that's responsible. Dropbox doesn't (and can't) just randomly delete files. If you're restored a file, look at the version history for that file and it will show you which device the deletion occurred on. From there you'll need to look at that device to see what process is deleting your files.

Typically, it's not possible to recover files beyond the 30-day limit. You can try using Dropbox Rewind or talking to support, but it's unlikely that you'll be able to recover files deleted more than 30 days ago.
